Your journey begins with a thorough consultation where Dr. Jean evaluates your breast anatomy, discusses your aesthetic goals, and helps you select the appropriate implant type (silicone implants or saline implants), size, and placement options. During this initial meeting, Dr. Jean will explain the different incision patterns that may be used, including periareolar, vertical, or anchor/inverted-T approaches, each selected based on your unique degree of sagging and desired outcome. Before your surgery date, you’ll complete any necessary pre-operative testing and receive detailed instructions to prepare for your procedure, including guidelines on medications, smoking cessation, and fasting requirements.
On the day of your surgery, we will administer general anesthesia to ensure your complete comfort throughout the procedure. Dr. Jean will then create the predetermined incision pattern, which may encircle the areola, extend vertically down to the breast crease, and possibly along the breast crease itself, depending on your specific needs. These carefully placed incisions will allow Dr. Jean to access the breast tissue while ensuring that resulting breast lift scars are as discreet as possible and typically well-concealed beneath a bra or swimsuit.
